Privacy Policy

Effective July 10, 2026

The plain-language version

JobMarkup does not require an account, does not track you, and does not run a cloud workspace. Photos and markups stay in the app until you choose to export or share them.

Data collection

JobMarkup does not collect personal data for CAPPSLOCK Softworks LLC. The app has no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or app-owned network account system. It stores basic app preferences on your device, such as purchase state and whether an in-app prompt has been shown.

Photos and device permissions

JobMarkup can access device features only when you choose the related action:

  • The camera when you choose Take Job Photo.
  • Your photo library when you choose Choose Photo.
  • The clipboard when you choose Paste Screenshot.

The selected image is processed locally for markup. JobMarkup does not upload your photos to a CAPPSLOCK Softworks server.

Exporting and sharing

When you choose Send, JobMarkup prepares an image and opens the system share sheet. You decide which app or person receives it. The privacy practices of the service you choose after opening the share sheet are governed by that service.

App Store purchases

Purchases and restoration are handled by Apple through StoreKit. CAPPSLOCK Softworks LLC does not receive your full payment-card details. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's privacy policy and your App Store settings.

Retention and deletion

JobMarkup does not maintain a cloud copy of your photos or exports. You control files that you save or share through your device. Removing the app removes its local app data subject to your device backups and Apple's platform behavior.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when JobMarkup changes. The effective date above will be revised when that happens. Questions can be sent to kevin@cappslocksoftworks.com.
